• 400M  Sea Angel  
• 800M  Sea Horse  (fun Swim, open age group)   
• 2000M Sea Lion 

     Race date: 26th Feb 2023 (Sunday)

     Race Venue:  The Thistle PD Resort 

     A swimmer could only participate in one of the events.  Limited to 500 slots only

Entry Fee (inclusive of personal insurance , rm20,000 of life coverage and rm2000 hospitalization)

Participant’s Entitlement:  Winner's Medal (gold | silver | bronze) for each age group of 400m|2000m  & Trophies for over-all winners of 400m|800m|2000m for every gender , E-cert, ,swimmers club top 3 performance recognition (400m & 2000m), light refreshment

*Swimmers to wear their own favorite Swimming cap;  Please note that the event does not offer any finisher medal nor T-shirt. But it comes a total of 192 winners or podium position.

Race Age-group Category for each gender:   (defined by the swimmer’s age as of December 31, 2023)

400m  -  7, 8, 9,10,11,12  (every year)

800m  -  Open

2000m - 13-14, 15-16,17-18,19-20,21-22....,55-56, 57-58, 59-60, 61-64, 65+   (every 2 years except 60+)

8:45 flag off 800m Sea Horse

9:20 800m COT

9:30am  Flag off  2km Sea Lion

10:50am 2km COT

Qualification: a minimum of 1 time OWS experiences for the past  2 years. Any triathlon, swimming event, or  Swimon or any OWS workshop/training can be counted.  A swimmer's coach endorsement will be counted too. Contact race director for further query or justification

Safety: The course is patrolled by safety crafts and life guards. Participants should be adequately trained for open water swims of this length. All swimmers must wear the provided swim cap. Wearing safety buoy is mandatory. Contact us if you need to acquire from us.

Race result: The winners time in each category will be published immediately onsite but the rest will be provided within 24 hours via www.malaysiaopenwaterswimming.com

 
The race book (details of event) will be distributed within 10 days before the race date.
