About the swim:  The challenge is to swim 1.5km along the shore of Pulau Besar of Perhentian Islands and 250m | 500m kids inside Teluk Pauh. 500m adult or +13y is also available This course is considered the most calm or protected area. With super clear water, you will enjoy the sight of corals and schools of fishes along this amazing course.

Safety: The course is patrolled by safety crafts and life guards. Swimming Safety buoy is compulsory for visibility and other safety measures

6:00pm    – Racepack collection at the Barat Chalet/PIR.

8:00pm  – Collection End

Oct-4 

7:00am   – Site registration , RP collection ,  body Marking at the Perhentian Island Resort

8:00am   – Technical & safety briefing

8:45am   – 1500m flag off

11:00am   – 500m Sea Angel flag off 

11:30am - 500m (+13) flag off

12:30pm – Cut off

5:00pm   – Hi Tea & Award Ceremony  at Perhentian Island Resort

 

Recommended Accommodations:  The Coral View,  The Reef, The Barats,  The Mama's , Perhentian Island Resort . All walking distance to the starting/ending

Travel Recommendations:
Flight: A flight from KLIA/Subang Airport will reach Kota Bharu airport in about 45 minutes. Then another 45 minutes from the airport to Kuala Besut Jetty by land transport. 
If you wish to come by bus, you can take a bus that stop at Kuala Besut Jetty or Jerteh. If you are at Jerteh, you need more 10 to 15 minutes to reach the Kuala Besut Jetty.
Highly recommended to book an early flight to Kota Bharu as the first trip from Jetty to the Island is at 11am. More importantly to book a return flight no later than 3PM to avoid unnecessary rush.
about boat transfer:  Boats leave Kuala Besut (Jetty)  for Perhentian from 8 am to 4.30 pm and return at 8am, 12pm and 4 pm. The boat trip takes half an hour but allow for one hour for planning travel times.
